#195. The "peace symbol" (a "Y" imposed over a vertical line) is a fairly accurate representation of a resonant antenna.
One problem (there are many) with resonant signals produced by such antennas: they can be perceived by the mind.
The workaround for that is to "suggest" they don't exist or aren't being heard.
Not everyone "chooses" to accept such things as reality, thankfully enough. But it only takes a few who do for everyone else to go along on the ride.
That leaves identifying the source of the phrase "make love not war".
Let's imagine that someone (circa 1969) was unhappy with a particular foreign war. Now assume they weren't exactly sure how to "suggest" their want:
- "Make peace. Don't
waithesitate."
If you've read #100, you understand how masks and gloves go together. You may also understand how the word "wait" could be confused with "hate". The "reverse" used might then have been:
- "Make love. Not war."
It's only speculation.
More information will be provided.
