Calls to 911 or police departments sometimes involve describing another individual. There's nothing wrong with answering questions posed by those in authority.
When the first question asked is:
"Was he 'black'?"

Agree or disagree?
We are of the opinion that race should be the very last question asked - if at all. Including it in the conversation encourages racism.
Should someone be asked "What color was he or she or it?" the answer is simple.
Or backward.
