#116. Google is considering or decided to create more than one version of Search.
Why is this important? Their real goal is for someone (a real individual) to click on a paid link.
A universal problem is getting an individual to do what you want. The solution may be unconscionable but it's waited for decades to find the right problem.
That would be adding cues or targets to draw unconscious or conscious awareness.
Overriding conscious choice with unconscious suggestion is typically a no-no. It doesn't work on everyone and may draw unwanted attention. Pardon us for getting those backward.
Cell phone or touch screen users already have enough difficulty tapping their intent on a display. Can you imagine regularly missing the key or link you were aiming at only to arrive at a paid placement?
Time to start practicing the opposite of "click what we want, not what you meant."
