National Security Secret #64

#64. Hospitals are not a great place to be for someone with COVID if the rooms contain devices with LCD displays.

The reason is ultrasound caused by the refresh rates from even the tiniest of LCD displays.

Do you prefer your explanations to be in patent application form?  Wish granted:

Method for controlling any wave type using oscillating current

Method for coupling sound or vibration to a magnetic field

Method for coupling any wave type to a magnetic field

It's virtually impossible to escape a static electric field of some strength except for a few traveling circumstances.  And when a static electric field begins to vary in strength and size while encompassing a device with an LCD (there were no CRT - Cathode Ray Tube - displays handy to confirm if they have the same effect) the relatively small oscillation of it's refresh rate can be amplified to ultrasonic dimensions.

How does that happen, you ask?

Two words - oscillating current.

Baloney, you say?

Well, there's more than one way for oscillating current to magically appear.

Here's one in the process of being rapidly "phased out":

How can an oscillating signal and current get created?

More information will be provided.
