National Security Secret #29

#29. Virtually no one understands how Bluetooth and WiFi can be used.

Please note: The technology and software referenced below exists as an ongoing development project intended for patent protection (in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas but that's a secret so please keep it to yourself).  Please don't "borrow" anything explained as an "idea" - that could be considered theft.  [10-19-2021 11:38 am]

It's just for streaming music or connecting to the internet, right?  Not exactly.  When combined with oscillating current, much more is possible.  More information will be provided.

Bluetooth and WiFi are more similar than alike.  One thing they can be used for is measuring indoor air quality.  Perhaps last-line-of-defense smoke detection and alarm units would be feasible?

There's many other seemingly unrelated fields of research that could be integrated as "protection through invisible deterrent" based on how the human mind works.  More information will be provided.

It's even been speculated that human and canine minds share similarities to allow man's best friend to play a more involved role in protecting us - should that be decided.  More information will be provided.

WiFi is able to go further whether that's through walls or through us.  It can actually be used to measure a person's heart rate and detect breathing - without any indication it's being done.

ExtremeTech, "MIT perfects cheap, accurate through-wall movement and heartbeat detection with WiFi

Wired, "Heartbeats can now be measured wirelessly"

On a more personal privacy note, both Bluetooth and WiFi can be used to create a zone for monitoring movement.  The simplest way of doing this involves a bad actor setting up their own receiving antenna nearby to monitor changes in the scattering and absorption patterns from one or more private wireless routers.  This can be used to vaguely identify both the movement of individuals and larger things like when someone gets new furniture or puts up curtains.  More information will be provided.

For identifying or tracking the movement of an individual in their home, it helps to have a little inside knowledge about their movements to calibrate the software used.  Getting a few good "baseline" scattering and absorption patterns (where it's known exactly what room they're in at the time and what they're doing) can allow software to know much more about our lives than anyone realizes.  More information will be provided.

Even worse... it can be made much more accurate and invasive by leveraging connections to WiFi routers or Bluetooth devices from the individual's own cell phones.  More information will be provided.

Does this all sound like science fiction?

When were you born exactly?
