National Security Secret #9

  National Security Secrets

#9 - Areas the size of neighborhoods, communities, and towns are occasionally "given" a type of wireless intercom system that can reach everyone.

This should elicit some scoffing and ridicule.  After all, it sounds laughable and completely made up.

It isn't the type of wireless intercom system you might think.  But it can form quickly, build in strength and extent, then wink back out of existence as fast as dialing a cell phone.

Some of the indications such a system is active are even more ridiculous:

  • Those in such an area may find that when politely smiling at someone their smile may unintentionally change into one with a completely different meaning before they can stop it.
    • Starts off as a polite acknowledgement but ends as a mischievous or knowing smile  that wasn't intended.
    • An involuntary turn of the head may follow as though eye contact were being avoided.
    • One is aware it's occurring while it's happening but must struggle to try and stop it.
  • The reverse can also be encountered.  Someone may find that everyone they pass either sighs loudly or has an unpleasant glare in store for them.  Whether the glares are real or a perception, the effect can be the same.
  • One way of referring to this would be a "technological ex deus machina".
  • In this case there's no all knowing or seeing God orchestrating people's actions - it's the exact opposite.

For those who haven't made the choice to "participate" in this system there can be a perception of the "whole world turning against them".

Don't worry too much over it though.  That's definitely not the case.  Keeping a healthy perspective is all that's needed to prevent any distortion of reality.

More information will be provided.
