Have you noticed how quiet all the startups focused on AI seem to have become?

Where are the announcements of new startups entering the race to create one??

What happened to the periodic news of advances and breakthroughs???

An entire industry has disappeared without a single dissenting voice.

Facebook, Google, IBM, and certain unnamed major banks all had significant resources invested.  There's still news of advances made by Amazon, Google, and Nvidia, but those pertain to machine learning and not artifical intelligence.

You may recall a comment made by a well known entrepreneur right before news about AI ceased being announced.  That they were deeply disturbed by something was clear.  What caused it wasn't mentioned but augmented intelligence became their next project.

When individuals or industry stop caring - on any subject or topic - things disappear.  Should those things make periodic reappearances (take spiralling or torque light or signal discoveries) the reason may be cloaked.

We're expecting an announcement at any time.

More information will be provided.
