    Everything said in this secret is complete wackadoo! I wish my laptop could use wireless power by just setting it down on the ground and it lowers right up.

    It might make you feel better to know that setting your laptop down on a surface where the current described is flowing creates something like a composite antenna out of you and the laptop as you type or drag a finger on it. There would also need to be something to repeat or receive the signal to whoever's invading your privacy. But that's more about a type of side channel attack used to snoop than to keep your laptop charged.
